This was such a fun project!
It was very experimental; I made it for the baby of a friend who is forgiving of my poor sewing skills and uneven stitches. But I thought it turned out pretty cute!
I just cut the bottom half off a onesie, made a pleated little skirt and sewed it on.
Then I added a couple fabric circles and a button.
[don't look closely at my stitches; sewing circles is hard!]
This one is tiny, for a tiny baby... but would be just as easy for a bigger girl!

Lucky me that I am the "friend" here. I love this dress on Diesa. She looks so stinkin' cute in it. As soon as I washed it I put it on her again. Thanks so much. Anytime you want to experiment with sewing projects, consider us your guinea pigs!
